Overall SEO in a nutshell, is the most effective use of your web page to answer specific search terms. So if you want to make your web page rank on Google for any search term, then you have to make sure that your web page not only sums up the highly followed answers but also is recognized by Google’s fancy algorithm to determine who ranks the highest.

Search Engine Optimization is actually about helping search engines to understand and present content. Your site may be smaller or larger than our example site and offer different content, but the optimization topics we are going to discuss below should apply to sites of all sizes and types. We hope this post gives you some fresh ideas on how to improve your website.

How SEO works?

How you get your website to be recognized by Google and placed it on top of the search?

It can be achieved by just using SEO strategies. You have the title, tag, and curate with information on your web page to serve up the most accurate information about a specific topic. Let me break it down with an example: Let’s say that I want my website to rank on the first page of Google for the search term Importance of Search Engine Optimization. First and most importantly is that I will be writing a very informative and interesting article about SEO. Secondly, I want the title of this web page to contain the search term inside it.  So it would be something like “Search Engine optimization importance in 2020”. Do you how the search term is hidden within the title that is something Google’s algorithm is going to be looking for.

You can even insert the search term in the first sentence of the description beneath the title that’s too standing out on google. After this, you can move on to the next step and add the Metadata on your website. Metadata is just the information that people don’t generally see. For instance, when you hover your mouse over any image, the title of the image should also be relevant to the search term. Even though people don’t typically see this, Google still recognizes it or you can even add the URL of the web page to contain search terms as well. Google will pick up on that too. It will look at how many times your website is linked to other websites and if other people are sharing interesting articles that you wrote on their websites this will also can improve your ranking on google as well. Because Google sees you as the source of information. So If you want your website to have a greater chance of ranking higher then you also have to include a bunch of information on your website about similar search terms within that same niche.

According to the SEO research firm, MarketingSherpa, 44% of clicks for B2B companies go to a homepage, not a landing page. Yes, the homepage is important, but a landing page is where you can initiate a strong relationship.
